VECCI is the largest contributor and most influential member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and therefore our capacity to exert influence on the shape and direction of the national business policy agenda is significant.
Through our involvement in a range of committees and working parties, we play a lead role in shaping the policies of ACCI on a range of business policy issues including economic management, industrial relations, tax and regulation, trade practices, workplace safety, innovation and industry policy education and training, and the environment.
